i’m brian. i’m a writer and a terrible cartoonist.

i’m probably best known as the writer of Hey, Answerman! on Anime News Network.

i’m also a playwright. i’m a member of the Artistic Development Committee for Late Night Theatre at Beowulf Alley. i’ve written and performed in several plays, notably ‘I’m Sorry I Liked You’ (review) and ‘You Are Not Special!’

i’m also one of the members of Cactus Pants Cowboy, a local sketch comedy troupe.

i’ve also written and drawn cartoons for the Arizona Daily Wildcat, Dumm Comics, Anime Jump!, Protoculture Addicts magazine, Anime Insider, and Topless Robot.

i just moved to the Baltimore, Maryland area and will be performing for the Baltimore Shakespeare Factory.
